We Came 1st in "Kaizen Award Turkey" and 7th in "Global Kaizen Award"!

Medicabil Health Group, which carried out pioneering work in poor healthcare services and won first place in the 'Kaizen Award Turkey 2024' competition last June, successfully represented Turkey in the Global Kaizen Award held in Brazil.

Medicabil Healthcare Group was the only institution competing in the field of patient care and diagnostic and treatment services in the organization organized by the Global Kaizen Award, where companies operating in various sectors in 32 countries participated in their kaizen studies.

Medicabil Health Group, one of the 15 institutions that were deemed worthy of being presented among the participants in the competition, came 7th in this competition and Kaizen studies were determined as one of the best practices that encourage efficiency benefits in business excellence and more value for society.

Expressing their great satisfaction with the success they achieved in the Global Kaizen Award competition held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Medicabil Healthcare Group President Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk Bilgen said, “We are the only healthcare institution in our country that implements kaizen in the field of patient care and diagnostic and treatment services. “We knew that we would also succeed in global competition,” he said.

Medicabil Health Group Board President Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk Bilgen said, “We established our hospital in 2011 in line with the Lean Healthcare philosophy. We have been working with Kaizen Institute Türkiye since 2016, with whom we met. In line with these studies, we worked to ensure that our infection rate in our hospital is zero. We carry out all the necessary work to ensure that our patients are discharged as soon as possible and that the patients we treat do not apply to our hospital again with the same complaint. Our current infection rate is 2 per thousand, which is close to zero. We have almost achieved these three objectives. We have placed great importance on efforts to digitize the functioning of the hospital and our services. “Science is advancing in the field of health, as in every field, and we must follow this progress,” he said.
